# Which PCB terminal-block fields must match before you compare offers?

Match the terminal block to the board interface before comparing offers. Record pitch, position count, pin layout, mounting process and connection direction, then retain electrical ratings with their stated conditions. A familiar housing or a nearby pitch is not evidence of a drop-in replacement. Use the maker drawing for the named reference and obtain engineering confirmation for any substitute; sourcing evidence alone cannot approve an electrical design.
